So Daughter #2 was getting married and she wanted to host her Hen’s Party
here! I knew she would want something ‘over the top’ glamorous so I put together and styled
a fabulous scene for this big event.
I arranged hundreds of flowers and lit hundreds of candles.
I set these all up on our granite benchtops, relying on the glass
splashbacks and granite to reflect the flickering candle lights.
And it looked beautiful! I froze rose petals and small flowers in ice cubes
and used them in the champagne bowl.
Of course, throughout this whole set up, I had a little helper!
Who really wasn’t that much help, if I’m to be totally honest!
I served an array of light finger food and filled lots and lots of glass
containers with gorgeous chocolates and sweets.
I put my heart and soul into styling this event. It’s not every day your baby
gets married and I truly wanted the whole experience to be magical for her.
It was v v glam, even if I do say so myself!
Here she is! Time for her to get dressed and enjoy the evening.
And they lived happily ever after!!
